The Heart Puzzle
Every piece tells part of your story.
Your heart is more than the difficult things that have happened to you. It is more than the questions you carry, the relationships that have shaped you, or the pieces of your story you may still be trying to understand.
The Heart Puzzle is a gentle way of slowing down and noticing the heart God created within you—and where He may be inviting you to rediscover something that has been there all along.
There is no perfect order and no expectation that every piece feels complete. Some pieces may feel familiar. Others may be harder to recognize right now.
We simply begin with the piece that seems to be asking for your attention.
Loved • Secure • Trust • Wonder • Grace • Joy • Hope • Purpose
Every piece belongs because you are always Beloved.
The Pieces of the Heart
Each piece invites us to notice something about the heart God created within us.
You may recognize yourself immediately in some of these pieces. Others may feel distant, complicated, or difficult to receive. There is no right place to begin. Simply notice which piece seems to be drawing your attention today.
LOVED
Rest in the truth that you have always been deeply loved by God.
Today: I am loved—not because of what I do, but because I belong to God.
Ephesians 1:4 (NLT)
SECURE
Find rest in knowing you are held, protected, and never alone.
Today: I am secure because God is with me and holds me close.
Isaiah 43:1–2 (NLT)
GRACE
Receive what you were never meant to earn and release the need to be perfect.
Today: I can receive God's grace in the places where I feel weak or unfinished.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT)
JOY
Rediscover a joy that can remain even in difficult seasons.
Today: I can make room for joy even while life is still unfolding.
Psalm 16:11 (NLT)
TRUST
Remember God’s faithfulness, even when you cannot see the way ahead.
Today: I can trust God with what I understand and with what I don’t.
Proverbs 3:5–6 (NLT)
WONDER
Rediscover curiosity, beauty, and the gift of seeing life with fresh eyes.
Today: I can make room for wonder and notice the goodness around me.
Luke 5:26 (NLT)
HOPE
Look beyond what is to what God is still making possible.
Today: I can hold onto hope because God is still at work.
Romans 15:13 (NLT)
PURPOSE
Recognize that your life and your story still have meaning in God's hands.
Today: I am created by God for a purpose, and my story still matters.
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
Reflect on This
You don't have to understand every piece today.
As you look at the eight pieces of the Heart Puzzle, simply notice what catches your attention.
There is no right answer and no piece you are supposed to choose. You may feel drawn toward a piece that feels strong and familiar—or toward one that feels distant, tender, or still unfolding.
You don't need to figure out why. Just begin by noticing.
Which piece catches your attention today?
What do you notice as you think about that piece in your own story?
Is there a Scripture, memory, question, or longing that comes to mind?
What might you want to bring to God in prayer?
You don't have to solve anything here. Sometimes noticing is enough.
Every piece belongs because you are always Beloved.
The Heart Puzzle Is a Framework, Not a Formula
Your story comes before the framework.
The eight Heart Pieces give us language for reflection, but they are not steps to complete or a path you have to follow in a particular order.
Your story may move between the pieces. Several may feel connected. One may hold your attention for a season while another hardly seems relevant at all.
You may discover strength in a piece you expected to be difficult—or questions in a piece you thought you already understood.
There is no “finished” Heart Puzzle you are expected to achieve.
We follow the woman, not the worksheet.
In Guided Coaching, the Heart Puzzle may help us begin a conversation, but it never determines what your story should mean or where the conversation must go.
We make room for your story, Scripture and prayer, and remain attentive to the Holy Spirit—trusting God with the pieces and with the whole picture.
You don't have to put all the pieces together before you can begin.
Wherever You Are, You Can Begin There
You don't have to know which piece needs attention before you reach out.
Maybe one of the Heart Pieces caught your attention.
Maybe something in your own story came to mind.
Or maybe you simply have a sense that it would be helpful to have someone walk alongside you for a while.
You don't need to understand what it means or know where the conversation will lead.
You can begin with what you know today.
If you'd like, we can begin with a free 30-minute Let’s Connect Conversation.
It gives me an opportunity to hear a little of your story, answer your questions, and make space for you to consider whether Guided Coaching—or perhaps no next step at all—feels right for you.
Your heart doesn't have to be flawless to be beautiful.
