Before there was a Heart Puzzle Ministry, there was a little girl with a balloon.
Some of the most meaningful pieces of our stories begin long before we understand what they mean.
For me, one of those pieces began when I was about three years old—with two photographs, a balloon, and a little girl who knew something about love, trust, wonder, and freedom.
The Heart Puzzle began with two childhood photographs, a balloon, and a picture of the heart God created me to have. Over time, that picture became a way of understanding how gently God meets us in every part of our stories~even the pieces we would rather hide or leave behind.
The Balloon Memory
I was about three years old when two photographs captured something I wouldn’t fully understand until many years later.
In the first, I’m standing with a balloon close to my face, gently touching it and looking at it with complete wonder.
In the second, I’m running through a field with the balloon trailing behind me. I can remember that little girl laughing—free, unafraid, and completely caught up in the joy of the moment.
When I look at those photographs now, I see more than a childhood memory.
I see a little girl who knew she was loved. She trusted. She felt safe. She looked at life with wonder. She was free to experience joy without worrying about what might happen next.
She didn’t know anything about a Heart Puzzle. She was simply living from the heart her Creator had given her.
Somewhere along the way, life begins adding pieces to all of our stories.
When Life Adds Pieces
As we grow, life adds pieces to our stories.
Relationships, experiences, joys, disappointments, losses, responsibilities, and unexpected turns begin shaping the way we see ourselves, God, and the world around us.
Somewhere along the way, the freedom and wonder that once came so naturally can become harder to find. We may begin carrying questions we never expected to have, protecting places in our hearts that have been hurt, or wondering how all the pieces of our story fit together.
I know what it is to look back over a life and realize that some pieces make sense while others still hold questions.
But I have also discovered something beautiful:
God was present in the story all along.
And slowly, the picture of the Heart Puzzle began to take shape.
The Heart Puzzle Takes Shape
Years later, when I looked again at those photographs of the little girl with the balloon, I began to see them differently.
I saw more than a little girl who was happy and carefree. I saw a picture of the heart God created—a heart that knew it was loved, felt secure, trusted freely, experienced wonder, received grace, knew joy, held hope, and had purpose.
It was almost as though I was being shown the picture on the outside of a puzzle box—the picture that helps you understand where all the pieces belong.
And I began to wonder:
What if the pieces of our stories aren't meant to be discarded, hidden, or forced into place?
What if God can meet us in every piece and gently help us rediscover the heart He created?
That became the beginning of the Heart Puzzle.
Not a picture of a perfect heart, but a way of noticing what God may already be revealing, renewing, and bringing together.

A Calling Begins to Take Shape
The Heart Puzzle began with my own story, but over time I realized it wasn’t meant to end there.
Caring for others has been woven throughout my life—as a daughter and sister, a wife, mother and grandmother, a registered nurse, and later as a certified health and life coach.
Again and again, I found myself drawn to the same place: sitting with someone in the middle of her story, listening, encouraging, and making room for hope when it was difficult to see.
For a long time, I sensed God inviting me toward something more, but fear often made it easier to wait. I wondered whether I was ready, whether I had enough to offer, and whether I had heard Him correctly.
Eventually, the invitation became less about feeling completely ready and more about being willing to say yes.
Heart Puzzle Ministry grew from that yes.
I don’t believe I am the one who puts the pieces together. God does that work.
My role is much simpler: to come alongside another woman, listen well, ask thoughtful questions, offer encouragement, and make room for what God may already be doing in her heart.
Healing happens in relationship because we were never meant to journey alone.
Heart Puzzle Ministry exists to gently invite women to rediscover the heart God created within them and to notice His presence in every piece of their story.
This is a place to slow down. To be heard. To reflect honestly. To bring the questions as well as the hope—and to make room for what God may be doing in your heart.
The Heart of the Ministry
Our Mission
Our mission is to gently invite women to rediscover who God created them to be—making space for their stories, honoring the pieces that have shaped them, and encouraging them as they notice where God may already be at work, bringing healing, growth, and renewed hope.
What I Hope You Experience Here
A place where you don't have to perform.
A place where your questions are welcome.
A place where your story is treated with care.
A place where Scripture, prayer, and faith can be part of the conversation naturally.
A place where you can begin exactly where you are.
Every piece tells part of your story. Every piece belongs because you are always Beloved.
Our Vision
Our vision is for women to live increasingly from the truth of who they are in Christ—loved, secure, able to trust, filled with wonder, receiving grace, experiencing joy, holding hope, and living with purpose—as the Holy Spirit continues His work in their hearts and stories.
You Can Start Where You Are
You don’t need to have your story figured out before reaching out.
Maybe you know exactly what is on your heart. Maybe you only know that something feels different, unfinished, or ready for attention.
Either way, you are welcome to begin there.
I would be honored to hear a little of your story and make space for you to consider what next step—if any—feels right for you.
Sometimes the first piece is simply having a conversation.
